Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Summary

Prescription medications are not returnable and not refundable once dispensed. This is a requirement of federal and state pharmacy law, not a business preference. You may cancel your subscription at any time to stop future charges, and you are never charged if a provider determines you are not eligible for treatment.

1. Prescription Medications Are Non-Refundable

Once a prescription medication has been dispensed and shipped, it cannot be returned, exchanged, resold, or refunded. This applies to all medications available through the Oria Meds platform, including compounded medications.

United States pharmacy regulations prohibit a pharmacy from accepting the return of a dispensed prescription medication back into inventory, because the pharmacy cannot verify how the product was stored or handled after it left its custody. For this reason, no refund can be issued for medication that has already been dispensed, including partially used or unopened vials.

2. You Are Only Charged After Provider Approval

Completing the medical intake is free. You are charged only after a licensed provider reviews your intake and issues a prescription. If a provider determines that treatment is not appropriate for you, or you do not qualify, you are not charged.

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

Your plan renews automatically until you cancel. You may cancel at any time through your patient portal or by emailing support@oriameds.com.

Cancellation stops all future charges. To avoid being billed for the next cycle, cancel before your renewal date. Cancelling does not refund charges already processed, and it does not refund medication that has already been dispensed or shipped.

4. Orders Not Yet Dispensed

If you wish to cancel an order, contact us immediately at support@oriameds.com. If the pharmacy has not yet dispensed your medication, we will make reasonable efforts to stop the order and issue a refund for that charge. Once the pharmacy has dispensed the medication, section 1 applies and no refund is available.

5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, appears defective, or is not what was prescribed, contact support@oriameds.com within 7 days of delivery. We will work with the dispensing pharmacy to review the issue and arrange a replacement where appropriate. Please do not discard the product or its packaging until the review is complete.

6. Side Effects and Clinical Concerns

If you experience side effects or have concerns about your treatment, contact your care team through the patient portal. Your provider can adjust your dose or discuss alternatives. Side effects, changes in your circumstances, or dissatisfaction with results do not make dispensed medication refundable. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate in-person medical attention.

7. Consultation and Membership Fees

Program pricing is bundled: it covers clinical review by a licensed provider, the prescribed medication, dose management, care-team access, and shipping. It is not a medication-only purchase. Amounts attributable to clinical services already rendered are non-refundable, as the provider's review has already been performed.

8. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any right you may have under applicable federal or state consumer protection law. Some states provide additional rights that cannot be waived. Where such rights apply, they take precedence over this policy.
